Wales are absolutely gash

 

I'd have liked Wales to have gone through with us, but once USA went one up against Iran, it was clear it wasn't to be for them. I think if England had put in a decent performance in the previous game, we could have been more relaxed rather than demolishing them like we did.

 

Bit of a strange one this. Gary Speed started this Welsh improvement/evolution and the message coming out in the interviews post match was pushing this development on. Would have loved to have seen Speed manage wales at a WC as he was an Everton legend(leeds/Newcastle/Bolton too)

but wouldn’t have wanted them to qualify out of our group.
