Anyway…didn’t watch the Brazil game…peeps on the radio fuming about some kind of celebration by the manager…calling them arrogant and disrespectful etc
Getting to the nitty gritty of the tournament where you start to wish key players at your clubs PL rivals get injuries init
... ours never had such vast sums to spend ... but still managed to win the Premier League in less time ... and will likely have won just as many as Jurgen when he leaves
It was more cringe than disrespectful really. Think I'd shoot myself in the head if England/Southgate ever did such ****. Not that Southgate would of course, given he's completely devoid of any personality or humour whatsoever.
Definitely no financial doping using Trestellar when you were in the championship (around 2013ish) though, nope not at all. Total income 34m, wages 39m so sell the stadium naming rights and buy them back from an unknown company set up on an estate in Sheffield with no phone number or website for 11m profit taking Leicester just under the losses they needed to be under to avoid sanctions. All legitimate. Totally. Nothing to see there. For me it doesn't overshadow what came next but it does undermine arguments of them having done it morally or financially correctly.
I agree ... nothing to see ... won the PL with a team that cost less than 25% of what Liverpool paid for Virgil Van Dyck ... or half a Joe Linton
