Popped into Layer Road yesterday with my lad to watch the FA Cup game with Swindon. What a total and utter waste of time; It was hard to describe why Colchester were so poor without swearing. I like to support my local team whenever possible but I expect a little more from a league 1 side than that!! Feel sorry for the die-hard Col-Utd fans who were asking for their money back at the end. I won't be going again for a while. btw, Paulo de Canio looked a bit dapper on the touchline, it must be quite amusing watching his antics week in, week out at Swindon. Good luck to both teams for the rest of the season....to be fair, to the blues, they need it!
Di Canio is always animated on the line and it is good to watch but he has sorted our early season problens out as we have a whole new team this season apart from a couple of players and we have now gone 12 unbeaten and kept 11 clean sheets in those games. Good luck to Colchester for the rest of the season and its about time we beat you at your place as we never do that well there.
