I'm going to start off with Hateley. What an over rated pile of horse **** he was. So bad I find it incredible that he played football at the top level for so long. Simply ****e.
I wouldn't question any of those mentioned, though for me it has to be Simon Walton, as not only was he completely useless, but he also managed to injure our own players.
Who was the young striker who Taylor bought - "one for the future" he kept telling us, but he only played a few mins then we got rid
I reckon it was one of the Bradford players that had to borrow our kit for that game when they were too thick to spot a colour clash.
Depends what you mean - do you mean most lacking in talent or made the worst / least impact as a player? If it's the former then there is a long, long list which would have to include many of those mentioned above but personally I always shudder at the mere mention of Tony Brien. Its also worth considering that people like John Moore - as Godawful as he was - represented us at the level we are currently at whereas people like Steve Hawes, Christian Sansom, Craig Lawford and that Scottish goalie Hately signed from Motherwell (Scott something?) shone out like rancid beacons at a lower level. If it's the latter I always have a special level of hatred for Matt Wicks and Richie Appleby but they were by no means the least talented and fall into the 'took us for mugs' category.
