I'm unclear as to what "tarrier" actually means? Not something I've ever heard outside the thick, bigoted, insular world of the moronic west coast <whistle>

Personally not offended by either but think that people that use them routinely look a wee bit stupid.

Tarrier is more of a Glasgow slur.....not sure if that makes it any less of a slur though.

I couldn't give a **** if anyone called me a taig or a tarrier (I'm neither any way) nor do I find them to be sectarian but we live in PC times.

I consider them both sectarian, hence I use the words on a daily basis. What is the point of calling those fenian bastards "taigs" or "tarriers" if it isn't sectarian? I really can't see the logic in it.

Nonjudgmental here in Dublin and if I heard either word shouted at someone I would assume that person had a speech impediment and look the other way.
