As with Zen, I would only buy it to burn :emoticon-0148-yes:

Never have liked and never will like Luton, neither as a football team or as a town.

Hmm, a tough but good question. I think for a good cause which could raise a lot of money, I probably would - but I would have to wear a Watford shirt underneath so it doesn't touch my skin!

Certainly would, if the cause was one I felt strongly about. Some things are more important even than football...

<laugh> Whilst Theo is, of course, right it would never come to that as you would presumably be able to raise the money in another way. I am now praying to God that nobody offers to sponsor me a ridiculous amount of money if I wear that shirt when i'm doing the grand union Canal challenge in June <yikes>

Fully engaged, Brian, and though it's not popular on here I gave up wasting my energy on badmouthing other teams years ago. I understand others feel very differently but I prefer to focus on my own team. Perhaps if I was really being honest I'd admit to not having a kind word for Chelsea, though I'm sure some of their fans are more amiable than those who threatened to beat up my very obviously pregnant sister back in the 70s.

yes the 70s/80s was not a good time for football . the others up the road and wolves will be grounds that i will never go to. I have never seen small groups of home fans being used as look out to find there targets and they was not worried about the police

Just wearing a football shirt in public would be enough of a challenge...

Absolutely Brian but I know exactly what Toby means - they're not especially nice to wear and, with no disrespect to anyone on here who does wear one, they're not usually very flattering.

What?? You'd put Watford underneath L*t*n? Shame on you....

Not sure that I'd ever wear one - as I certainly wouldn't buy one whatever the occasion.

I´d wear one very very briefly for a very very incredibly good cause.

actually, given socail media nowdays, consider that above comment redundant.
