Ok…let’s just get this one over with. It’s gonna be a tough one…

somehow Wycombe have a completely limited and old bunch of players (I saw Akinfenwa for Gillingham and he was old then) that are a collective behemoth.

    unlike us.

we’re a bunch of outstanding individuals with no idea how to work for the collective benefit. I lay the blame for that at Cooks door.

We’re gonna get bullied and bashed and I think that’s the last thing we’re good at dealing with. Penney failed to clear a basic deep cross and we have the worlds strongest footballer up next to swat him out the way... No one got near him when I watched him he’s a monster and he can play his mates in pretty well.

we might sneak a draw. I’ll optimistically aim for 2-2. Another one I’m not betting on.

This one may depend on who is available to play. Full strength I fear nobody in this league as we score goals.

Think I'll go for a 2-1 win anyway as Cook will have more time to prepare and plan with the players he can use.

Tough, dirty, we grind out 2-2 draw.

We need min 7 pts next 3 to stay top 10 mix, and touching distance top 6.
Like others, I remain convinced we will make top 6 this season, but not promo. Big Q is who will stay with us next year for our next joy ride. And for all the painful stupid throw away matches, we have seen a different Town team last 2 months, albeit not the finished article.

My thinking is....we are capable of thumping anyone in this league, at the same time we are capable of being thumped by anyone. I just fancy this to be our day!!

3-0 up after 30 minutes. Wycombe score straight after our 3rd and then again just before 1/2 time. They add 2 more in 2nd half without reply so a 4-3 loss. My glass is definitely 1/2 empty

Morsy and Evans will have their work cut out tonight with both Edwards and Celina in front of them from the start. The plan is obviously to try and out-score Wycombe (stupid remark really, that’s always the aim but you know what I mean!)

Another different line-up, Chaplin out and Celina starts. Looking at the subs, that aint half a bad B team!

Lets hope for a good start, a nice early goal to settle things down.

Very attacking line up, which is what we all like.
Stating the obvious, but we could easily score a handful, but also let in a handful.
If KVY and Coulson defend well, can see us winning....if they attack too much, we'll get shafted.
Time for Edwards to step up and produce a good game...
I'll go with a 3-2 win (Bonne, Edwards and KVY)

Good team sheet, I’d prefer Donacien at rb and El Chappo on the left in place of headless chicken edwards. Glad to see Fraser on the bench… can’t get him fit and in the team soon enough for me.

Not the start we wanted, constant pressure, aerial warfare, goal down. PC, Plan B pdq.

Not a good start here at all. Slow and ponderous when we’re doing short passing, and we get closed down and pressed too quickly. When we go direct, it’s aimless and there’s only Bonne chasing. Wycombe creating more and playing to their strengths - being big and bullying a vulnerable looking defence.

Let’s hope our attack gets a goal from nothing, because we aren’t creating anything out there so far tonight.

Fair whack of fortune. Wycombe abandoned their press, allowing Morsy to ramble forwards. He set up Celina 25 yards out and his shot took a slightly deflection and off the keeper’s glove.
