I think had we been prepared to pay the fee he'd have come to us but he might as well get paid silly money in a **** Russia league then get paid ok money is a **** portugal league. I think he's a bloody good player and in a climate where 19 year old unproven Lucas Moura went for over 30 million, Hulk, a proven player in Europe has to be worth up to 40. Happy with Hazard and Oscar but there is no doubt Hulk would have added something to us. Just glad he hasn't gone to a rival. On another note, for 24 million, we should be in for Moutinho in Jan if the midfield needs work.
I have a mate who lives permanently in Portugal and supports a club called Ohlanense. he went to watch them play Porto at the weeked and Hulk got the winner in a 2-3 scoreline! He reckons he's pretty good but £40m---forget it!
