Even more so, Obi, when it wasn't Brown who committed the foul !

Bloody serious if Raylor becomes first choice LB with Jonas as backup. Always said we needed more cover at LB.

To be fair while I wish Haidara well he was ****e again, he fell over the ball at one point and ended up on his arse. Watching him and Sammy is like a mega **** version of the chuckle brothers. Raylor looked quality. Thought Colo had a good game today, threw himself in front of everything. Raylor was the same and his covering excellent. Nice to see that old die hard defend at all costs attitude back which has been missing. Low quality affair today mind but massive 3 points. Janmaat had a good game too. Abeid and Obertan must start, easily first choice now. Obertan didn't even really produce but he takes us forward and stretches teams. Abeid is going to be a top player.

Two poor teams and tbh I thought they looked the better side. But for some woeful finishing they could have hammered us.

I will take the points but its crap to watch at the moment.

Rivierre is awful, I mean REALLY awful. He is not a good player at all and offers us nothing.

Perez us lightweight and nimble and I am still not 100% he is good enough at the mid/top level but he has time on his hsnds. He did well when he came on.

Sammy goes missing in games and looks like he cant be arsed.

I thought we defended well today.

But not a good advert for premiership footy!

That is no where near a Prem quality pairing. If I was an opposing manager I would be straight on targeting our left hand side.

I had to laugh when they brought Rivière off in the 2nd half....I thought he'd must have fallen asleep in the dressing room at half time. He brings a whole new meaning to ****e...and don't give me that old "he needs a goal and some confidence bollocks" he's ****ing ****, plain and simple. You can't polish a turd !

Why all the grief aimed at Riviere? If it hadn't been for his skillful flying, diving, back-heel-flicky-style dummy, to completely bamboozle the Villa defence, then Cisse would never have scored that winner today. I just think he's ahead of his time and most fans simply don't yet appreciate the ability of this footballing genius.

Bloody hell, those close-ups of Tim Sherwood in the post match interview! Looks like something from a Zombie Apocalypse movie - or somebody dragged off the street with a serious drug addiction.

Sherwood looks like he has the world on his shoulders already, drained, desperate and worn out.
As for the game a welcome three points but what a load of bollox. It's becoming a grind dragging myself up there after 27 years....Roll on Wednesday eh?

Well we are at that point in the season where we go, 'just as long as we're not relegated, we just need to get the points'. Same every year. I don't work out that it is spring by the lighter mornings and the daffodils popping up, it's watching us play like a cub scout team, and stressing about whether there will be three worse teams than us in two and a bit months time. It's like Groundhog Day. It feels like it's been like this every Feb/Mar/April for the last few years.

A poor game to say the least, but at least it was a win, which is always a good thing.

I thought the first half was scintillating as I couldn't catch my breath, then I remembered walking up all those bloody stairs, which explains the delusions I was going through. The altitude in L7 and lack of air that high up didn't help either, which explains my Man of the Match....Riviere, or that might have been me wishing I was there instead of SJP.

I bet they're now looking at the drawing board. Figuring out what's wrong and how they still managed to get a win.
