But there's one thing I want you to know You'd better look before you leap still waters run deep And there won't always be someone there to pull you out Ahem http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbi...derson-singer-Rose-Garden-dies-Nashville.html A statement from the family said she passed away at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, on Thursday http://www.theguardian.com/music/2015/jul/31/lynn-anderson-singer-rose-garden-dies-aged-67 Lynn Anderson, whose mellifluous and husky voice carried her to the top of the charts with (I Never Promised You a) Rose Garden, has died. She was 67. A statement from the family said she died at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, on Thursday. Her publicist said the cause of death was cardiac arrest.
RIP Lynn. Your cliché ridden, C&W wasn't particularly to my taste but Rose Garden deffo makes my top 1000. BTW, checkout the first ever TV appearance by Alan Partridge on Ben's video. Doing what comes unnaturally.
A real shock and very, very sad; beyond the voice there was something about this lady I warmed to. RIP Cilla, you gave far more than you took, Chuck.
Bless her. Talented. Overcame prejudices against working class women. No front at all. RIP, bonny lass.
Saw her live at the London Palladium in 1965. Your song has ended but your melody will linger on. RIP Cilla.
RIP Neville Neville; I posted this in Roo' s thread and remembered the new format (which struggles): Only just aware of the passing away Neville Neville, a very sad day for his family and friends. He made a difference at all levels, be it within his beloved Bury that he shared in the fight to save, or his children being wonderful representatives of his passion for sport. The only blessing is that they were all together, way over there in Australia, supporting his daughter who is the Head Coach of the England Netball Team. RIP.
RIP comedy writer David Nobbs (Reggie Perrin) and NFL playing and commentating legend Frank Gifford. They're dropping like flies.
