Maybe best to keep suggestions for the Trust in one place Just two rules 1. Be specific about exactly what you're suggesting is done 2. Be specific about exactly how you're suggesting it should be done Enjoy I'll summarise here any that meet the rules above 1. Trust use an account on here to ask for suggestions for particular topics / campaigns, and they also ask any relevant questions about unsolicited suggestions made by people on this thread. 2. Suggestion deleted at request of person who made it 3. The Trust should consider a 'meet the Trust' social event or run a coach to away matches 4. Trust should consider setting up a youth football team 5. Trust should look to arrange matches with other fan groups and/or for disabled groups 6. Trust should produce wider range of merchandise and sell it round the ground 7. Trust should approach Radio Humberside to suggest a fan take part in the commentary / summary team 8. Trust put forward a viable alternative to no concessions
A very good question and one I suspect Den won't mind me saying is directed at DMD. The floor is your Dutch...
Ah Trustworthiness , to be Free from Lying Is the Greatest Virtue someone can display. Trust In God. And in a flip. Trust No-One. Your Welcome.
Partly, but not exclusively I do think there are some really good suggestions and debates on here, but I just thought it would be easier for the Trust to find them all in one place. Or even for the Trust to formally join in the debate on this thread
OK enough foreplay. I'll make the first suggestion I suggest that the Trust has an official account on here and that they use it to ask for suggestions for particular topics / campaigns, and they also ask any relevant questions about unsolicited suggestions made by people on this thread. To be clear I don't think they should use this board as a place to make decisions on whether to act on anything though, or offer opinions on what would and wouldn't work, that's a matter for the Committee, but hopefully the ideas shared here would assist them
Happy to take the floor, as I've done in the past. It would be better if these things were initiated, or at least acknowledged and contributed to by the trust. Previous versions of this have amounted to virtually nothing, but being an optimist, I'll be happy to give it another go, provided the trust committee clearly get involved in the discussion, and not just some vague unofficial 'involvement.'
Yes, 46 posts, most of which I believe were me... I've forgotten the password, which is a shame, as I could have had some fun with some new aims.
A thread similar to this has been done previously. It didn't work. Too many egos, too quick in being critical of others rather than offering anything but cryptic one liners. If people feel a need to contact the Trust with ideas they can be contacted easily via their email, website or on here via PM. I think the board member who initiated the original thread conceded in the end that it was a poor idea.
Here you go, it went a bit tits up with the OSC **** at the end... http://www.not606.com/threads/hcst-ideas-for-the-future.308947/
Ah fair enough Times moved on though, so it could be worth resurrecting that thread or leaving this one for any more current stuff?
They have one. It's not used. Despite my feeling they don't like suggestions from places like this, nor being criticized or told what to do by fans... Get Geoff in to see Ehab. No preconditions, no agenda, hidden or otherwise, no other members of the committee (yes especially not PLT), not done via requests on twitter, or in the media. A simple "look, we need to talk, openly and honestly, we can fix this ****, you up for it?" type approach. Stop with the "we're all volunteers and don't have the time/expertise in these things" bollocks. There's clearly enough time to deal with the FA, PL, SD, FSF, in fact anyone who doesn't have anything directly to do with our club. Yes, they're footy related, I get that, and yes, I get why they're important, but rather than trying to fix football, or attempt to stitch up our owners, focus on fixing what the majority of fans care about, i.e. Hull City. Sure, getting SD/FSF to force through measures with the FA/PL to the effect that clubs have to talk to Supporters Groups is great. Not going to fix our problems though is it? Not likely to be soon either. We need this mess sorting now. Stop the infantile **** online. If you want to be respected and taken seriously, act like grownups. Stop with the **** about the OSC. They do more for fans than the Trust has ever done.
Happy Tiger has been removed from this thread, any reasonable suggestions/criticisms of/for the Trust are welcome, but we need to keep the petty bollocks off here if it's going to achieve anything.
