Good Evening MKB supporters. We started sooooo well against the Shrews, with some lovely passing football in the first 15 minutes and Oliver should have had 2, 1 a sitter. Then we went back to midfield head tennis and hoof it football. Then it became a bore draw and lots of beer and bad language and an early night to bed. Drunk and no supper. SOOOOOOOOO frustrating. Even Sycho Evans was quiet. Not quite sure if O,Keefe has a bet he can get more yellows than The Gaffer. Watching tonight's result with Green Envy of what could have been. With 5 to play a max of 15 points would give us 74 points. With Lincoln, Charlton, and Blackpool still having 2 in hand. Lincoln giving MKD a hammering tonight.,The Pool at present drawing. I see we have a late KO this weekend. But this is a MASSIVE BIG Fixture, we have not beaten them at the Kassam since 20th November 2010. That was the last time we even scored there. It,s a massive hill to climb. They had 6 goals Saturday and at least another 4 tonight. It has been an amazing roller coaster ride again. Sadly I now cannot see us taking a slot in the special place and can even see us not picking up many points in the last 5. I feel sad that we will stay in the MEGA League again, I feel for sure, Dempsey, Graham, and Oliver will go. Possibility of O,Keefe and O,Connor. Loanee,s will go back to their mother homes. Sycho will get his P45 along with a bar of carbolic soap ( But a big thank you for the ride of our lives ) I have sent my CV to Mr Scally with my budget/wage bill. I have categorically stated I WILL get us up and fill MEM Stadium every game. Without fail. Have my scouts at Chatham Town, Sittingbourne, and Northfleet. Did think about Crabble but to many old connections lololol. Night all. Sweet Dreams. See ya Saturday Keep The Faith
We were lucky to beat Oxford at our place and I still believe Oxford are probably the best in this league, as Lenny said, 10 goals in the last two games. Oxford are not in the play-offs yet and should be, we are not in the play-offs and don't deserve to be. The best defence against Oxford is attack, they are not as clinical as Lincoln but play the better football. Oxford have intentions of going up, we have dreams... Oxford 3-0 Gills.
Oxford were in dire form recently but the amount of goals they've shifted in the last two games suggests they're making a last ditch attempt at the playoffs so will be a difficult one. The game will also see Olly Lee go up against his brother Elliot Lee for the first time in their careers I believe. Will go with the loss prediction for the betterment of the team (we seem to win when I predict a loss hence my poor position in the table this year). Oxford United 4-1 Gillingham (Henry, Winnall, Elliot Lee & Taylor; Olly Lee)
Sh*t or bust here and there's nothing to lose by giving it a real go. An entertaining Oxford 3 Gills 3 (Graham, Oliver and Dempsey). Hey what do I know looking at my position in the table.........?
Well good afternoon all, welcome to today's mahoosive 6 pointer. Our opposition this afternoon has put 10 goals in 2 games and 10 different goal scorers. This shows what a different team they are now compared to our October's home win. But if we hit them hard and quick things could be in our favour. We should have done it last week but hey ho. This afternoon we need to go and play like there is no tomorrow, this is the last game anyone will ever see or play in. We need to shouttttttttt as LOUDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD as we can that the KASSAM rumbles and crumbles and lift our team to the HIGHEST ECHELON EVER. After today's results, we are still only 6 points a miss. going into this match tonight. I in my mind see this as a loss and the end of our season's playoff chances. BUT !!!!!!!!!! I have been a MKB supporter for way over 50 years there is nothing I have not seen over those years. So IM going to support my team to the end as if it was the last. A WINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN IS ALL WE WANT< A MUST WIN Oxford 1 v 3 MKB ( Oliver x2 Dempsey and Henry) Keeo the Faith and see you all on the other side of tomorrow
