Born and bred. Well there were a few Prods who were involved in the uprising. I thought you were an intelligent man. <ok>

I like to think I am, I've studied the uprising and the history of Ireland. My missus is Irish, my kids are half Irish and my in-laws are amazing people, I love them to bits. I just didn't think there were many protestants in Dublin these days, my bad. And apologies, I assumed you are from Dublin but I don't know for sure so was just asking. Unfortunately many bigoted British (actually English) people have a negatively stereotypical view of the Irish (I'm NOT one of them).

Dublin a place where you could still smoke in the Temple Bar before the time when that woke ****er Bono bought the hotel on the other side of the river and when the Guiness tour was ace and you could get pissed on nectar with a real white head

No problems at all Dirty, I also watch Rangers on the box to wind up the mainly Celtic fans over here. I'm an Atheist as I've mentioned before. Never been into the politics of the country. Lived here all my life bar the time I was doing my basic training in Swinderby. <ok>

Haha, I bet that goes down well ! Just glad you're a Leeds fan. All my in-laws are Liverpool. I suppose it could be worse, the other half of town are Mancs.

I was drinking in the Temple Bar pub (in Temple Bar) a few years ago. This big Irish fella came up to me and started talking, saying "you know you're in the most expensive pub in Ireland ?" He was right by the way, we were only there because we were meeting up with some friends from Germany. "They're taking the piss out of you tourists with these prices". Said with no irony at all by the bloke from Galway standing in front of me with an over priced pint of Guinness.

I'd prefer not to either Shako, but these German friends of ours just love being in the middle of Dublin and it's normally just a couple of pints of Guinness before we go and see Aslan at the Olympia. It's a proper tourist trap.

I haven't a clue TBH Dirty. What with covid and all, there's not been anything on. His shows were nearly always word of mouth or ads a few weeks before event.<ok>
