It was me WJ. Polly and Makemstine had said a few words to each other. Both their posts were deleted, you’d replied to Makemstine or Polly (can’t remember which it was now) and your quote contained the removed offending material, your reply also looked out of place because of their posts being removed so the post was removed. Like I’d said nothing personal, if I’d left it there would have been confusion who you were replying to and it contained a quoted post that was removed

 

I'd take it personally bud. Seems to have only affected you. It's a disgrace.

I fully support you taking this further.

I thought the supermods were interfering again. I was ready to chuck it & go elsewhere.

And why were the others deleted? They were posted days ago. Did they start rotting & stinking after a couple of days? Why did they need to be deleted all of a sudden? Another snowflake request? Did the authors of the posts approve or object to your actions, or did they not have a say? The point I'm making is that they were posted days ago & you took no action. So why now? Supermods telling you to get it done, perhaps?

I decided to change the glow plugs on the car which turned out to be a spectacularly bad idea.

Evening all i see Fulham are at home to spurs and are a goal down. Now they play again on Sunday away at Liverpool. How come?.

 

I had the same message this morning,cleaning up! I posted a reply to poly this morning to his rant about makem, 4 in total, all I put was that the only decent post of the 4 was regarding a picture...he again was slagging off makem so I replied as it was over the top....so I don't regard the post I posted to be offensive,but there you go....if people can't take flak don't bleeding give it

 

As much as I hope you’re right, I’ll say again, I think people overestimate the value of U23 football. It is very rare that many come through at the same time to play first team football.

 

It's an interesting debate about U23's football, over the old reserve Leagues that used to be in place.

John Newsome was talking at the weekend about how he played against the late, great, Cyrille Regis in the reserves at Sheff Wed. Cyrille absolutely bossed him and they conceded six...Newsome went home that night and wondered if he'd ever make it as a pro footballer. Next day the coaches made him do an individual session showing him where he'd gone wrong and how to improve. That experience and that training session he says stayed with him forever and made him into a pro player.

Not sure you'd get that in todays U23's.

 

1) When you remove a post, you have a very limited space to share why it was deleted.

2) I had no idea that it doesn’t tell you who removed it.

3) The report button was used on two of Pollys posts, a PM message came to myself, Bucks and Elland from another member complaining about Makem

4) It was me who picked the complaint up first, I dealt with it as fair as I could. I had to go a day or two back to see where it had started to kick off.

5) Not heard a thing from the supermods over it, both Makemstine and Polly are in a private message group with myself, Bucks and Ell regarding what’s happened

 

Look at the scum right back that came to us, got roughed up and disappeared without a trace. Was going to be the next big thing. We had quite a few ‘on the cusp of making it’ with their parent club loanees that just didn’t hack men’s football. Could probably say that Eddie fitted into that category. If you are good enough you’ll play, look at Saka at Arsenal, he tore us a new one.

 

It wasn’t offensive mate but again once the post you were replying to was removed it left your reply stranded and looking strange. Pollys post was over the top and wrong hence why it was removed.
